Artistic Origins

Paul Teer is an oil based artist originating from the UK and based in Japan. With a degree in Fine Art gained in the UK, Paul is working on refining techniques whilst being careful to retain a  raw, yet instinctual quality to the images he creates.

 Interested primarily in portraiture he has exhibited paintings in Tokyo and Yokohama. Working from his home studio he strives to explore subtleties of emotion in his portraiture hoping to create images that hold something, however indescribable, the viewer can relate to.
